This guide details the mandatory Customs procedures for all vessels arriving in Papua New Guinea (PNG). It is designed for the Master, Captain, Owner, or appointed Shipping Agent<\/strong> to ensure compliance and facilitate a smooth port entry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Arrival Reporting & Cargo Declaration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All vessels must submit an Impending Arrival Report<\/a><\/strong>. The deadline is determined by the voyage duration from your last port of call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Cargo Report (Manifest)<\/strong> detailing all goods<\/strong>\u2014whether for unloading in PNG or remaining on board\u2014must be submitted 48 hours before arrival<\/strong>. This should be filed via the Customs ASYCUDA<\/strong> system or delivered to a Customs office.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
